CLUBMAN 3D HELI-FEST 2006
The North Notts MFC, organised some very successful Helicopter Fly-ins. This success attracted pilots from all over the country including many of the UK's top 3-D, FAI and Scale fliers.
In 2006, the Second Clubman 3D Flyin and Competition was hosted by The North Notts MFC. This event gave the 'club flyer' a chance to taste 3D Competition and gain valuable competition experience. We also hoped that this event will become a stepping-stone to the larger 3D competitions, and maybe find the next budding Curtis Youngblood !!!
The rules were set out to cater for club pilots and entries were not accepted from heavily sponsored or recognised pilots who have competed at previous international events.

Clubman 3D are proud to be the first major open 3d competition in the world, to be won by an electric power helicopter, the superb Century Swift using Flight Power Evo20 6s1p 3700mAh lipo pack, maybe this is the shape of things to come for RC Helicopters !!
