Scoring System:

Round 1 - Pick Your Own Manoeuvres:

Each judge gives a score out of 10 for each manoeuvre.
The manoeuvre k factors are applied.
The scores are totaled.
The scores are normalised.

Round 2 - Do It Yourself Freestyle:

Score out of 10 from each judge for Technical Merit.
Score out of 10 from each judge for Overall Appearance.
The scores are totaled.
The scores are normalised.

The Overall Scores are the sum of Round 1 + Round 2 normalised scores.

The 'Top 5 Flyers Final Round' was a rerun of the freestyle. This was then added to the Round 1 score, to determine the Final Result.

NOTE:

The term normalised means that the highest score gets 1000 points then the other scores are 'pro rata' factored based on this score.

This means that both PYO and DIY rounds are equally weighted.
